Start Young is for children aged 7 to 13. It's a class which is designed to build their confidence and social skills, increase their ability to listen, and allow them to develop independent thought.

Our fun dance and drama based classes are designed around children and young people and will help keep them fit while teaching them some of the softer social skills without them even noticing.Feel Young is for more mature women wanting a low-impact class which will still benefits their body.

Our courses provide you with the ‘How To Steps’ to build your own profitable business doing something you love. We show you the best low-cost (but high impact) ways to attract clients and keep them.

You’ll have all the support you need to grow your business, we provide the guidance to make it all a bit easier.

You’ll learn what really works when it comes to marketing so you're not spending so much money on advertising that’s not bringing the clients in.

As well as your training you'll get a complete blueprint for setting up a business, including template marketing materials like posters, flyers and business cards.

All BalletBeFit academy training can be done online, so you can easily fit around your schedule.

Once you've enrolled and confirmed you've reached Elementary/Intermediate standard you can access the online platform where you can read clear descriptions of the exercises and watch demos.

Each Class has been choreographed by Rachel Withers - a former dancer who trained with the Royal Ballet. It starts with a warm up, then barre followed by adage, and a set of toning exercises. Classes cool and close with port de bras and stretches. Everything from correct alignment to the benefits of each exercise is fully explained. You'll even get keywords to use in class to direct students through the right posture and technique.

We’ll supply you with everything you need to get your business up and running. You'll get a complete 'ballet in a box' including:

  • Class plans created by me, Rachel Withers - a former dancer who trained with the Royal Ballet.
  • Playlists to match the class plans.
  • Exercises which are updated every quarter.
  • Exercise sheets and access to training videos explaining how to teach the key steps.
  • Template marketing materials, like posters, flyers and business cards to help you promote your classes.

The course generally takes about a month, and gives you a thorough understanding of the class. By the end, you'll feel more confident to teach.

Then, you simply send us a video clip of you performing the class using Dropbox or We transfer, or pop a DVD in the post. We'll confirm when it's been accepted and you'll be a fully-accredited BalletBeFit instructor.

When does the course start and finish?
The course starts now and never ends! It is a completely self-paced online course - you decide when you start and when you finish.
How long do I have access to the course?
How does lifetime access sound? After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this course for as long as you like - across any and all devices you own.
What experience do I need ? Should I still apply?
All we ask is that you have a dance or fitness background, and a knowledge of ballet to elementary/intermediate level. The training course will give you everything else. By the time you've finished, you'll be more than confident to teach.
How does your screening process work – do I have to be vetted first?
When you apply online, you'll be asked to confirm you've reached elementary/intermediate level ballet. We don't vet you in person when you apply, but we'll screen you via the video you send us at the end of your course.
I don't have much time to hold the classes once accredited. In fact, my spare time is limited to an hour or two during weekdays – is that any good?
Weekdays are actually a good time to run your classes, as our research shows that people who attend daytime classes are more likely to make it part of their regular routine. That means they'll stay committed, and that means more money in your pocket.
I like the idea, but I don't have much money to get started. How much will I need?
We keep costs very low because we want you to be able to build a stable and profitable business. Your training course would usually cost £297, but for a limited time we're offering £100 off, taking it down to £197.
How can I be sure I'm making a safe investment, and that I'll earn good money from my classes?
We want to support you in making your business a success. That's why there's the option to gain to purchase extra content as required. There's no VAT on top, and we don't take commission. You can charge a minimum of £6 per adult per class, so you can see how easy it is to make your money back. There's an annual fee of £15 to keep you registered.
How long does the course usually take?
It is recommended that this course would take approximately four weeks to complete plus the assessment video. This is based on 1-2 hours of learning per day If you were able to complete more training each day then you would be able to complete it faster; equally if you are not able to commit 1-2 hours a day then it may take slightly longer.
What happens once I've completed the course and passed the assesment?
You have dedicated mentor throughout your training and after, we provide you with everything you need. We'll give you template materials to get your business up and running, including all the marketing materials and guidance to promote and build up your classes.
